  Ceylon black tea flavoured with ginger for a naturally warming, invigorating brew. A high grown Ceylon tea of medium body enhanced by the warming aroma and flavour of spicy Ginger. The combination of the two herbs is an ancient one, based on an ayurvedic tonic where the goodness in tea is combined with the benefits of ginger to produce a sparkling, all natural hot tea.

  Uva BOPF Ceylon Black Tea-2kg Loose Leaf

  Bold, twisted leaf appearance and in the cup, reasonably coloury, bright and pungent. The larger pekoe leaf gives this tea less colour and strength than the Uva BOPF also offered on our Tea Menu although many may find the lighter taste of this tea preferable for it retains the Uva character. Very pleasant for drinking at any time of day, suitable for drinking without milk although let your taste dictate whether you add milk or not. Purists would of course condemn the addition of anything that may alter the flavour of this wonderful tea, and we would agree that one should savour the character and flavour first before adding milk or sugar. A great Ceylon tea for general consumption.
